πŸ‘—πŸ’œ The Lessons Aren’t Always in the Pot!!! πŸ‘—πŸ’œ

It’s really hard for me not think about food. I chose a life (or a life chose me) that keeps me connected to others, even when I selfishly don’t want to be. In EVERY aspect, people need to eat. If a person doesn’t get a paycheck, they still need food. If a disaster happens to a family, you can give them shelter, with the next step feeding them. When someone gets heart broken or stressed, one of the top things is to check their eating habits or weight. If you plan a party, people want the most fitting and talked about menu. Society tells you to look a certain way: people generally change to adapt to the newest trend..with a prayer it’s via “good” food. It’s not a criticism or an over passing of ones’ needs. It’s an adjustment of viewpoint for myself to sit still and give whatever I can to someone else- minus the food. Be it my time, a shoulder to cry on, help watch their children or to go dancing with them for no reason BUT to remain happy; ANYTHINGΒ outside of food. The point is for me to realize there is more to life than just eating: although I have trouble believing it, I will listen. It is an honor to nourish the ones in my path; but in order to feed their needs, I must pay full attention…πŸ‘—πŸ‘—πŸ‘—πŸ‘—πŸ‘—πŸ’œ

I find it absolutely amazing that a Sam Cooke song is playing off Pandora that I’ve never heard in my LIFE. Good times.
